History
The Dean of the Humanities was created for an easier way of communicating between all the programs under the Humanities umbrella. The Dean of the Humanities at this period was named George Scharr. It is unknown when he stepped down from the position or why. The Dean of the Humanities college was eventually renamed to College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS), the current head is Miriam L. Wallace as of 2026.
