Included in this collection is information that was gathered at several middle-sized cities in central Illinois ranging from demographics of these cities to public opinions on their public services (healthcare, police, etc.). Also included in this collection are things pertaining to social justice and local government/state government observation.

Included in this collection is information about the running of different programs in the humanities as well as correspondence between different professors and outside programs/universities. There is also information about the budget for the humanities and different classes that were taught under humanities umbrella.

This collection includes the theses and PhD dissertations that have been given to the Archives. The collection was originally organized by topic and/or department. Starting in 2024, the theses are listed in the order in which they were added to the collection.

While the collection does include signficiant portion of the theses and dissertations put out by students, there are works that have not been given to the archives.
