History
The Center changed its name to the Center for Community and Regional Studies and was the reorganization of the Center for the Study of Middle-Sized Cities that began in 1972. This reorganization happened sometime in the 1980s. This reorganization didn’t last long, and the center was incorporated in the Public Affairs department in the early 1990s.
