Tape Collection (1970-current) consists of a variety of topics on video tapes, reel-to-reel tapes and audio cassettes.
Topics include the inauguration of President Spencer, the first SSU Commencement in 1972 and other commencement ceremonies, Sangamon River Basin Project, Psychology Today, poetry readings, Festival of Verbal Arts, Gerontology Institute, Black Awareness week, and many others

TM02. Tape Masters Collection, Contemporary Perspectives on Abraham Lincoln, 1976
In 1978 the tapes of the Lincoln Intersession of 1976 were condensed and edited into a sixteen-tape course entitled "Contemporary Perspectives on Abraham Lincoln." This collection consists of the master for that course.

This collection was reprocessed in March 2025. The order was kept as close to the original as possible.
The collection contains three slide series, and one series of cassette tapes. The cassette tapes contain audio from intersessions, WSSR Interviews, Ads, and University Convocations.

This collection includes papers, programs, memos, reports, announcements, and media (audio and video), booklets, press releases, papers of the coordinating committee as well as the contents of a time capsule that was set to open June 11, 2001. Historical note: This time capsule was opened and there is an article in the State Journal about said opening.
