Included in this collection is information pertaining to the original grant to fund the Oral History Project as well as other projects that were funded by the oral history projects. Also included in this collection is correspondence between the different team leaders of the projects.
History Program Records
Records of the History program include minutes, memos, working papers, project proposals, program proposals and scholarly papers by faculty members. Administrative reports provide an outline of the program's historical development.

Illinois Bench Project Records
This collection contains the files of proposals, fund-raising prospectus, research notes, correspondence, and publications. The first correspondence relates to a similar project in 1987 but most of the material relates to the 1981 project.
John Knoepfle Papers
Oral History “Eyewitness” Project Correspondence and Records
Included in this collection is the information that was gathered over the course of the research about the governors and their respective interviews. There is also grant requests and correspondence between the leaders of the project and their funders, also including reports.
Shawneetown Project Records
This collection contains the published report, transcripts, correspondence, budget materials, and research notes for the project from 1978 to 1979. It is for the most part, arranged in alphabetical order.
