Biography
S. Burkett Milner was the Associate Professor of the Social Justice Professions department at Sangamon State University (SSU). Previously to his appointment he was the Chairman of the Sociology department at MacMurray College. Milner got his B.S. degree from Southern Illinois University and his B.D. degree from Garret Theological Seminary and his PHD from Northwestern University. It is unclear when he left SSU, however after his time as SSU he worked in many different tourist fields all throughout the Midwest. He then became the director of tourism for Southern Illinois from 2000-2005. At the end of 2005 he retired with his wife Beverly (formerly known as Kobler) to live in Marion Il. where he is still assumed to reside.
