This collection includes meeting minutes from Public Affairs Center (PAC) meetings as well as recordings from the meetings on cassette tapes, general Public Affairs information, Correspondence between different offices on campus, Illinois Issues magazine information and research, and Desegregation informaiton from the Springfield Public School Disctrict.

The Cassette tapes that where part of the Crisis in Confidence papers were removed and placed at the end of the collection.

Biography

Philip Kendall was an associate professor of History an Dean of Public Affairs starting from at least 1972. No information for when he stepped down from positions assumes to be at the end of collection date. When on Sangamon State University (SSU) campus he was involved in many different departments and activities on campus ranging from the speaker's series as well as the general running of campus.
