In addition to minutes, agendas and audio tapes, this series includes informal documents as memos, correspondence, reports announcements and meeting notices. The earliest audio tape is dated June 14, 1991. Box #5 & 6 added May 25, 1995. These are audio tapes that run from April 22, 1993 and April 16, 1995; April 20, 1995 to May 4 1995.

The collection contains material related to the committee’s work such as correspondence, minutes, agendas, reports, and program reviews. It also includes material related to SSU’s efforts to develop communication skills from all students as well as records that document university-wide program evaluations. The second box also includes two cassettes from one meeting.

These are audio tapes of "SSU reports," a program aired on local Springfield radio stations. Included are interviews and panel discussions on such topics as University Week, among many SSU projects and activities.

Audio Broadcasts for MUS 492: The Changing Symphony taught by SSU professor Mark Siebert as Radio Side-band Course during Fall of 1980 and 1981. Each program consists of tapes with a narrative script and the music used. This course covered the changing symphony from its beginnings in the 18th century to the present with emphasis on listening. Audio broadcasts for MUS 493: Jazz roots taught by SSU Professor Jerry Troxell as a radio Side-band course during fall 1980. This course covered the beginnings of jazz, early styles and performance/composers; the evolution of jazz instrumental tradition up to the year 1940.
