Scope and Contents
The collection contains information about SSU as well as descriptions of facilities both in use and needed, assessments of library holdings, and notes about student credit hours. It also contains meeting meetings for the Board of Regents, Committee of the Whole notes, and memos. There are also SSU program responses to the Task Force recommendations.
The collection is arranged mostly by department.

History
The Strategic Planning Task Force was created in 1991 in the state Board of Higher Education’s mandate that all state universities identify priorities, assess activities in qualitative terms, and report plans for improving institutional productivity by reallocating resources. The final report was presented to Richard D. Wagner, executive director of the Board of Higher Education on September 30, 1992.
