History
The history of this committee, which was appointed by President Spencer roughly in 1973, is unclear. The committee’s purpose was to work with Robert H. Hayes and Associates on a salary structure for administrative positions at Sangamon State University (SSU). While it was colloquially known as the Hayes Committee, the official name was The Hayes Compensation Study Advisory Committee.
This committee was only a short-term committee so after 1974-1975 it didn’t exist.
