History
The University Program Evaluation Committee (UPEC) was established to look at curriculum and its planning at SSU. They were a source of information about curriculum planning and rationales for curriculum changes. They also made clear relations between internal and external governance in respect to curriculum development and program evaluation.
UPEC was dissolved sometime in the 2010s and the curriculum planning, evaluation, and implementation falls under the General Education Council.
