Robert C. Haynes Papers for PAC 418- U.S. Corps of Engineers, Spring 1977, which was an examination of the corps as an institution, of it's strategies for further modifying further major waterways of the Mississippi drainage system, primarily those in Illinois, & the controversies pertinent to it's planned activities. The materials consist of comments of Illinois State Agencies coordinated by IL Dept of Transportation on chief Engineer's Report for Locks & Dam 26, Corps of Engineers booklets & map, environmental statements 1976, brochures, "Disasters in Water Development". Newspaper & other articles.
