Scope and Contents

Included in this collection is correspondence between the project leaders and Lincoln experts about the remodel of the Lincoln home as well as the other sites around Springfield. Also included in this collection are interviews with Lincoln experts that would be used in the documentary. There are also scripts and drafts of various speeches, presentations, and pamphlets. There are also various articles about Lincoln and his time in Springfield/Illinois.

Scope and Contents This collection contains photographic materials produced by Richard Phillips and a nearly complete run of the Iliniwek newspaper, which Phillips published from 1963 to 1976. Materials concern the early history of Illinois and heavily feature small towns, unique architectural details, and historic sites.
