History
The Dean Health of Human Services (HHS) was founded shortly after Sangamon State University (SSU) was founded, with the earliest information about the HHS coming from 1971. The HHS was focused on dealing with classes pertaining to health administration/psychology/sociology. It is unclear when the name changed but the department is still active on UIS now under the name of College of Health, Science, and Technology Administration.
