This collection contains records for the Business and Administrative Services and its housing files. This includes materials such as The Student Housing Cooperative, Lease Agreement, developers/realtors, surveys, housing applications, Streetside Boosters, Rudolf’s Bean (People’s Place), Coffee House, The Peer Counseling Program, Housing Program Applications. It also includes progress reports on the Capital Program and Roof Moisture Reports.

History
The Business Affairs department was one of the first departments on the campus of Sangamon Sate University (SSU). This department was renamed in 1979 to the Business and Administrative Services Department. This department handled the day-to-day business of the University such as accounting, personnel, telecommunications, etc. In 2006, the department was eliminated and the departments that were in this larger department were moved into other areas of the university. What was the Vice Chancellor of Business and Administrative Services becoming the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Administrative Services.
