International Studies records (1983-) contains announcements, brochures, newsletters and minutes, memos, reports and working papers of the International Task Force. International Studies was a thematic activity and was part of the Innovative & Experimental Studies Cluster until 1991 when it became a minor. This minor provides students with an understanding of the complex and changing world and methods of analysis for studying countries, societies and cultures.
J11/5/11. Individual Option Program Graduation Reports, 1971-1978 RESTRICTED
Prior to 1980 every graduating student at UIS was required to submit a Graduation Report to his advisor 30 days before the end of the students final term. This applied to undergraduate and graduate students. The reports consisted of a self assessment and demonstration of the students academic achievement and communication skills. Teacher evaluations are also included in some reports.

This file consists of student proposals for individual degree programs. Topics include: Liberal Arts and Management skills, personal reality preparations, improvement in education for the disadvantages and psychology in the learning environment, individualized learning and graduate admission reports. These are copies of the original of the original documents; it is not clear where the originals are deposited.
