Energy Studies Records (1976-85) consist of announcements, brochures New & Expanded program requests, memos regarding the Energy Task Force, and proposals for an energy administration program. This series also contains reports on the "Community Energy Self-Reliance Springfield Energy Project" (1982) including citizen participation, electricity demand, transportation study, and summary & task force reports. The Energy Studies is an area of study within the School of Public Affairs and Administration. The goal of energy studies is to develop a synthesis of technical knowledge and social considerations to study energy issues and to seek solutions to energy problems.
