Scope and Contents
Poster showing photographic portraits of Freemasons belonging to the Springfield Consistory of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, printed in association with a meeting of the Springfield Valley of the AASR, November 25-27, 1918. The black and white portraits of 197 individual members, taken by Kessberger Photo of Springfield, are identified by name. The Scottish Rite, one of the two major branches of Freemasonry, traces its American origins to Charleston, South Carolina in 1802.
