The Faculty Senate Long-Range Academic Planning Committee (LRAPC) records (1986-) consists of agendas, meeting notes, memos and bill 16-3 re-establishing LRAPC in the fall of 1986. The LRAPC responsibilities include reviewing drafts of the Long-Range Academic Plan, recommending changes in the plan to the Faculty Senate, and recommending final action on the Long-Range Academic Plan to the Senate.

The Faculty Senate Joint University Advisory Committee (JUAC) records (1985-) consists of memos, Board of Regents proposals, faculty salaries, meetings, and resolutions and information on disinvestment from pension fund holdings in corporations and businesses that operate in South Africa. The JUAC is the liaison between the Board of Regents and the University Assembly and its Senates; it is purely advisory.
