There are 13 issues in this collection including an election special in March 1971. The first issue was published in November 1970. The last issue is dated September 13, 1971. The Focus was a monthly newsletter published and edited by SSU student Todd Domke, as an alternative publication for Springfield and SSU.

There are nine issues in this collection dating ca. 1971-73. The periodic publication began as an anonymous satire newsletter of SSU and its students, faculty, and administrators. Titles varied between Mothly Rag and Monthly Rag.
