In El Salvador: field and office work, colleagues, activities outside work, and the people of El Salvador. In Surinam: language problems, nurses training programs, and life in general. In Liberia, Africa: living and working conditions, programs and problems, language difficulties, native living and working conditions, diseases and treatments, school health programs, and government agency problems. In reference to each country food, language, housing, and hygiene conditions are detailed.
