Glen W. McDonald, doctor of medicine, discusses his foreign service as head of the health programs in Iran and Haiti for the International Cooperation Administration (successor of IIAA). He discusses his family's foreign experiences, the ship Project Hope and his work as Chief of the U.S. Public Health Service Diabetes and Arthritis Program. Also recalls early life, medical school, private practice and military service in WWII.
