ILLINOIS GENERAL ASSEMBLY ORAL HISTORY PROGRAM
McGloon,Democratic Illinois State Senator 1959-1970, discusses his years in the General Assembly and work with the Commission on the Organization of the General Assembly, reapportionment, and legislation dealing with judicial issues, civil rights, environment, crime, and state revenue. He also discusses his years before the General Assembly: family, early years in Chicago, education, WWII, law school, work as Assistant State's Attorney, and private law practice. Also discusses service as Appellate Court Judge and his organizational memberships.
