Reum, member of the Illinois House of Representatives 1953-63, discusses campaigns and elections, reapportionment, fiscal reform, education legislation and the "Reum" bill. Also discusses his early years: his family, Chicago, education, law school, WWII navy service work as a and district and township committeeman. He also recalls his more recent activities as playwright and author, his wife's career and his law practice.
