Free lance and commercial artist. Resided in mental hospitals and other institutions since 1931.

One hundred and fifty five drawings with annotations in pencil and ink depicting Hueser's memories of growing up in Chillicothe, Illinois, and Fort Madison Iowa; his education at the University of Illinois and the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts; career as a commercial artist with studios in Chicago, and Mt Vernon, New York; and family life with wife, Edith Marjorie Paradise. Drawings done while in nursing home.
