Scope and Contents
Faculty personnel files kept by Vice President for Academic Affairs include notifications of appointment and re-appointment; non-instructional assignment reports; professional activities reports; recommendations and decisions about retention, promotion, merit pay increases and tenure; appels of decisions; documentation of public affairs activities; copies of published articles and books. These are the files on which Program, Cluster and University Personel Committees base their recommendations to convenors, deans, vice president for academic affairs and chancellor. These are files of either faculty, emeritus, resigned or terminated.
