Lauren Goin, husband of Evelyn, recalls his experiences in Indonesia, Turkey, and Brazil as a member of the International Cooperation Administration. He discusses issues of public safety, police assistance in foreign countries, the importance of political and social order to international stability, and how the program was perceived by Congress and the public. Also mentions support for the Public Safety Program, murder of Dan Mitrione, and police training in Vietnam and Korea.
