LINCOLN MEMORIAL GARDENS PROJECT Gaule discusses her many years of involvement with Lincoln Memorial Gardens in Springfield. She recalls the planning, planting, and maintenance of the grounds, the Indian Council Rings, co-workers, Harriet Knudson (the founder of the Garden), Jens Jenson and his plans for the grounds, volunteers, board members, school groups and educational programs,the Civilian Conservation Corps, and the efforts of the Garden Clubs of Illinois.
