Evelyn Goin, married to Lauren Goin, was a member of the International Cooperation Administration, a group working in the area of public safety in foriegn countries. She recalls domestic life in Turkey, Brazil and Jakarta, Indonesia. She discusses living conditions, food, climate, cultural differences, clothing, schools, and the people in the different countries. Also discussed is the Goins' return to Washington D.C..
