Kolbe, assistant press secretary for Governor Richard Ogilvie 1969-1973, recalls the events of Ogilvie's administration. He discusses his early experiences in journalism, working with Richard Ogilvie during his campaign for governor, establishment of the Governor's Press Office, speech writing, the governor's staff and cabinet members. He also discusses press operations and Ogilvie's failed bid for reelection in 1972.
