Records of the Committee includes minutes, correspondence, grant applications, proposals, and requests and other materials having to do with the Committee's allocation of money from the $150,000 Ford Foundation Venture Fund at SSU. Projects funded include the Learning Center, the Oceanography projects, Sangamon Poets, the Springfield Area Neighborhood Organization and the Minority Service Center.
