History
This extremely short lived stand-alone undergraduate degree option was used as a way for nurses to prepare themselves to be anesthesiologists. It only lasted from 1979-1982 before it was deemed no longer necessary. There is no current degree alternative available at the University of Illinois at Springfield, instead there is one available at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
