This collection contains papers assembled by Helene Rogers Marquardt, a member and Executive Secretary of the Vachel Lindsay Association. It includes one folder of correspondence relating to the business and activities of the Association and six folders containing short publications by the Association. Arranged alphabetically.
Folders 1-6 in Box 1 contain MS 0032 and MS 0033.

Biography
The Vachel Lindsay Association is a not-for-profit corporation founded in 1946 in Springfield, Illinois to preserve and promote the history and works of local poet Nicholas Vachel Lindsay. The association played a role in the preservation and restoration of the Lindsay Home, and promotes interest in Lindsay through publishing and public programming such as writing workshops and readings.
