Scope and Contents

This collection contains the personal papers of Don Yohe relating to his time as an associate professor and program chair of Child, Family, and Community Services at Sangamon State University. It includes memoranda, correspondence, notes, reports, course assessments, syllabi, and class notes. It is divided into two series.

Series I: Program Administration, 1974-1999, contains materials relating to the administration of the Child, Family, and Community Services and Social Work programs at Sangamon State University, later University of Illinois-Springfield. Particular subjects include the development of the bachelors and masters programs, program self-studies, accreditation of the social work degree by the Council on Social Work, and course assessments. Arranged chronologically.

Series II: Courses Taught, 1973-2003, contains syllabi, assignment prompts, class notes, memoranda, readings, and course planning materials. Arranged chronologically according to term.

Biography

Don Yohe joined Sangamon State University in 1973 as an associate professor of Child, Family, and Community Services and later served as chair of the program. He retired in 2000.
