TELEPHONE PROJECT
Roberts, telephone company employee from 1936-72, discusses Illinois Bell, the Sangamon Ordnance Plant at Illiopolis, WWII, and telephone service in Springfield. Roberts also recalls his work for Adlai Stevenson's presidential campaign as a telephone communications expert, train telephone service, and travelling on the campaign trail.
