Rowe, Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives 1961-67, discusses his years in the General Assembly: campaigning, public aid, education, civil rights, and reapportionment legislation, and legislative reform. Also discusses his years before and after serving in the the assembly: family, education, Jacksonville, Illinois, polio, WWII, and campaigning for State Treasurer and for Governor James Thompson.
