Alumni SAGE Society Legacy Oral History Project Newman, is currently the Executive Director of the Springfield Housing Authority and is working on a doctorate in Public Administration at UIS. She graduated from Sangamon State University in 1991 with an undergraduate degree and started working on a master’s degree in Public Administration, obtaining the master’s from the University of Illinois Springfield in 1995.
