Cooney, resident of Springfield, discusses her interest and involvement with fundraising for Springfield community organizations, including YWCA, World Fellowship Committee, Sangamon County Heart Association, League of Women Voters, Mary Bryant Home for the Blind, Garden Clubs and Women's Club Health Committee. She also discusses her early life and education in Springfield; living in Germany and Austria during WWI; Civilian Defense work during WWII; and church activities.
