Farrington discusses her participation in the undergraduate interdisciplinary program in Environments & People, obtaining a teaching certificate, and graduating in the first class from SSU. She returned for a Master’s in English in 1980; her advisor was Communication Prof. Larry Smith. Some of her favorite professors included Norman Hinton, Judy Everson, and Jackie Jackson.
