PRISONER OF WAR EXPERIENCES IN WORLD WAR II Brunner, U.S. Marine, recalls his experiences as a prisoner of war. He discusses his capture by the Japanese in the Philippine Islands, imprisonment at the Osaka Prison Camp, treatment of prisoners, punishments, living conditions, working with Japanese civil-ians on work detail, prisoners' health problems, and his liberation and recovery. He also discusses some of the lasting effects of his P.O.W experience.
