Bradley, director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture 1961-63, discusses his work with Governor Kerner's administration: regulations and departments, staff, and problems encountered. He also discusses his interest in agriculture and politics; work with the Rural Electrification Administration; organization of Illinois Farmers' Union; farm legislation; farmers' support of President Kennedy; state politics and farmers; his association with politicians; and his work and relationship with President Kennedy.
