Greenholdt, the district coordinator for Equal Rights Amendment Central for Sangamon and Montgomery Counties, recalls the events and people involved in the attempt to pass the ERA in Illinois. She discusses the amendment, its supporters, opposing groups and arguments against the amendment, states which ratified the amendment, and actions taken in the Illinois General Assembly. She also discusses her background and education.
