Scope and Contents

Grummon, a Springfield attorney and son of a Methodist minister, discusses his parents' background, his own marriage and family, WWII experiences, civic activities, and legal career including his role in an early school integration law suit in the late 1950's. He also recalls his childhood as a "preacher's kid" and his education at Cornell College. He also mentions his mother's experiences growing up in China as the daughter of missionaries.
