J9/8/11. Communication Program, Graduation Reports, 1973-1978 RESTRICTED
Prior to 1980 every graduating student at UIS was required to submit a Graduation Report to his advisor 30 days before the end the student's final term. This applied to undergraduate and graduate students. The reports consisted of a self assessment and demonstration of the student's academic achievement and communication skills. Teacher evaluations are also included in some reports.

J9/2/100. Plato IV, Group Notes, 1976-1981
Plato IV group notes (1976-81) consist of bound computer printouts that contain messages between users of the Plato system. The users discuss problems, hints, solutions and suggestions about lessons and using Plato. Plato was a computer-based educational system located at the University of Illinois in Urbana with terminals throughout North America, including SSU.
