Published report, transcripts, correspondence, budget, material and research notes of Shawneetown Project, 1978-79, prepared by the Oral History Office Office under contract with the Illinois Department of Conservation. The project documents the history of the State Bank of Illinois at Shawneetown through oral history interviews and identification of known photographs and artifacts as well as documents covering the history of the bank and building from 1837-1926.

This file consists of a proposal, a fund raising prospectus, research notes, correspondence and publications. The project was never funded. There is a letter about the project written in 1987, but almost all of the material was generated in 1981.

This series contains articles submitted to Psychohistory Review and not accepted for publication. Chronological/Alphabetical order is artificial. Topics include the history of Psychohistory, womens' histories, and psychobiographies of Marx and Hitler. Correspondence relating to the rejection of each paper is included. There are brief biographies of most of the authors.

Oral History Illinois General Assembly Research Project consisting of alphabetical index of legislative deliberations, 1935-81, bibliographies, legislative rosters, research notes, and state publications regarding the history, membership and procedures of the Illinois General Assembly. The file was assembled by Horace Q. Waggoner as background material for the Oral History office's project to interview current and former members of the General Assembly.

Prior to 1980 every graduating student at UIS was required to submit a Graduation Report to his advisor 30 days before the end the student's final term. This applied to undergraduate and graduate students. The reports consisted of a self assessment and demonstration of the student's academic achievement and communication skills. Teacher evaluations are also included in some reports. RESTRICTED - no box list.
