Published report, transcripts, correspondence, budget, material and research notes of Shawneetown Project, 1978-79, prepared by the Oral History Office Office under contract with the Illinois Department of Conservation. The project documents the history of the State Bank of Illinois at Shawneetown through oral history interviews and identification of known photographs and artifacts as well as documents covering the history of the bank and building from 1837-1926.

The file was assembled by Horace Q. Waggoner as background material for the Oral History office's project to interview current and former members of the General Assembly.

Scope and Contents Oral History Tapes & Memoirs, consisting of oral history interviews recorded on cassette tapes and conducted by the the Oral History staff and others since 1972.
