Physical Sciences Program records (1970-81) consist of description and proposal establishment of Physical Sciences Program, meeting minutes, agenda, memos, brochures and program sponsored events. The Physical Sciences Program sought to provide students with a solid foundation in the physical sciences, a perception of the major problems facing society and sufficient background to facilitate solutions. The program was terminated in 1981.

Prior to 1980 every graduating student at UIS was required to submit a Graduation Report to his advisor 30 days before the end the student's final term. This applied to undergraduate and graduate students. The reports consisted of a self assessment and demonstration of the student's academic achievement and communication skills. Teacher evaluations are also included in some reports.
