Prior to 1980 every graduating student at UIS was required to submit a Graduation Report to his advisor 30 days before the end the student's final term. This applied to undergraduate and graduate students. The reports consisted of a self assessment and demonstration of the student's academic achievement and communication skills. Teacher evaluations are also included in some reports.

Student files include B.A. and M.A graduates and students who did not complete their studies. Files contain memoranda, correspondence (tutorial, advisor, admissions, faculty, convenor), transcripts, copies of course evaluations, graduation reports, student evaluation reports.

Faculty exchange file kept by Larry Golden, Coordinator including correspondence (both professional and personal), memos, announcements, brochures, photos, newsletters, and faculty exchange agreements. Prof Golden gave file to Regan Smith when he took over job as coordinator. Dnated to archives in Decemebr 1993.
