The Energy Conservation Project was undertaken for the Illinois Commerce Commission. The printout shows the correlation among responses to survey question about home heating equipment, insulation, home value, and income.

Student papers cover environmental problems and proposed solutions at local, state and national levels. Topics included are waste disposal, recycling, and environmental legislation.

Publications of the CSMSC including demographic profiles for Springfield, Peoria, Decatur, Bloomington, Normal, Champaign and Urbana; also includes a citizen's survey of Springfield city government.

The Publications of the Center for Community & Regional Studies 1982-84 deal with citizen attitudes or problems in rural Illinois counties. These include water supply, hospital service, foreign investments, air transportation, needed services and hospital marketing.
