Photographic prints of a variety of SSU/UIS events and people including individual and group photographs of students, classrooms and buildings, bookstore, cafeteria, course programs, commencements, Capitol Campus, registration, soccer, Clayville, day care center, and photographs of the construction of the interim buildings, Brookens Library, and the Public Affairs Center.

Scope and Contents S1/02 - Proof sheets are cataloged and shelved separately from positive prints. Each sheet is given its accession number and is listed in the card catalog by subject and name(s).Not to be confused with S1/01 - This (now defunct) records series contained positive prints arranged by accession number. Photographic prints of Springfield area buildings, organizations, and some reprints of old photographs. Also included are photographs of Springfield historic theaters, Workingmen's Singing Society, Coal mining, Bunn-O-Matic strike, community colleges and Illinois Universities, Ku Klux Klan, Sangamon river, and the Concordia Theological Seminary.
