These cost studies, submitted to the Illinois Board of Regents for FY 1980 and FY 1981 report costs per discipline, per faculty credit hour, and per program major.
E2/1/1. President's Office, Capital & Operating Budget Records, 1970-1974
The capital budget and operating budget detail the university's financial needs in the area of the university. Both the capital budget and operating budget were absorbed into the RAMP documents in FY75. The Capital budget became Volume II and the Operating budget became Volume IV of the RAMP set.
NOTE: Beginning FY 1975 the Capital Budget and the Operating Budget were incorporated in RAMP (Resource Allocation and Management Program). See Series E2/1/3.

E2/1/3. President's Office, Resource Allocation & Management Program (RAMP) Documents, 1973-1993
This series contains the Resource Allocation and Management Program reports otherwise known as RAMP documents. These are issued each year to the Board of Regents and Board of Higher Education and detail the university's financial need in areas of budget, capital budget, and operating requirements.
E2/1/4. President's Office, New & Expanded Program Requests, 1973-1979
New and Expanded Program Requests (NEPR) are submitted annually for approval of new B.A. and M.A. degree programs as well as other kinds of special units or projects which represent new and expanded programs. Prior to FY76, NEPR's were separate reports. Beginning with FY77, the NEPR is Volume III of the RAMP documents.

The Affirmative Action Record include: Grievance procedures, SSU Constitution, policies and procedures, papers, program for Brookens Library Dedication, correspondence and grievances files. The file also contains correspondence and publications from Jack C. Coleman, Affirmative Action Officer.

The Personnel Services Presidential Search Subject File, 1984 contains letters, cover letters and resumes of potential applicants for the position of Sangamon State University President. Also included are meeting and memos between search committee members; Durward Long was hired for the position of President of Sangamon State University.
